“3 Things” To Premiere At The Method Fest
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - 8 March 2010 - A new short film “3 Things”, directed by Gary Ravenscroft, is premiering in Los Angeles at Method Fest, an international film festival centered around strong acting performance and quality filmmaking.
In “3 Things”, Ravenscroft, multiple award-winning Australian director, draws on his strong visual style and keen eye for locations, to create a cinematic signature for the film. Together with his ability to get natural performances, he artfully weaves this creative fusion through a non-linear storyline.
“3 Things” is a visual mix-tape about love, following two remarkable characters who find each other at the precise right and wrong moment of their lives. The film stars breakout performers Rachel Jackson and Charlie Capen as well as Michael Raymond James (True Blood, Black Snake Moan) and Saxon Trainor (Conspiracy Theory, Star Trek: the Next Generation, The X-Files). The film features a rich, contemporary soundtrack with big name artists Beck, Stars and Lykke Li (Twilight - New Moon).
Producers Karen Lavender of LiveTribe Productions, Jenna Capozzi of Forward Films and Jenny Good teamed up to help bring the vision of writers Rachel Jackson and Charlie Capen to the screen.
”The Method Fest is the only film festival in America that puts its focus on the actor....a festival of discovery, seeking story-driven films showcasing breakout acting performances by emerging stars and career-defining roles by established actors.”
The festival has been running for the past 12 years and this year will commence on March 25th with ‘3 Things” screening on:
