Gary has some 200 projects under his belt. He is a multi-award-winning Australian cinematographer-turned-director with a portfolio that ranges from music videos and documentaries to TV commercials and feature films.
His trademark unflinching style, innovative visuals and compelling performances have earned him multiple awards, including 10 American Advertising Federation Awards, an Australian Film Institute nomination, and 8 Awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society.
Gary’s most recent work includes directing a multiple-award winning feature length documentary with it’s 16-part “Drug free world” commercial campaign that has already reached over 230 million people internationally. Officially commended by the City of Los Angeles and the California Legislative Assembly, the campaign he directed is now the focus of international attention from multiple governments and the United Nations.
Other directing accomplishments include a string of socially conscious projects and PSAs, the multi-award-winning films “3-Things” (showcased at the Short Film corner at Cannes) and “Non-Sequitur” as well as filming the critically acclaimed Australian feature “One Perfect Day.”
